Unlike sportswear embroidery where durability through aggressive washing is paramount, kids apparel embroidery must be soft against sensitive young skin, free from irritating backing materials, and visually appealing to children and parents alike.

The key technical difference is in the backing material and finishing process. Standard embroidery uses a paper or plastic backing stabilizer that can feel rough against the skin. Our kids embroidery uses a soft cotton backing that feels gentle, breathes naturally, and doesn't cause the itching or redness that leads children to complain about "scratchy tags." After embroidery, we apply a soft-back finishing process that covers any exposed backing edges with a thin, flexible coating — creating a completely smooth surface against the skin.
